IBC Market Atlas

Choosing a market is one of the most expensive decisions an exporting company makes, and it is almost always made with less information than it deserves. IBC Market Atlas is the tool we built to change that: it brings together foreign trade statistics, foreign direct investment and economic context in a comparable view, and we put it to work inside a conversation with our team.

The Atlas does not replace professional judgement: it feeds it. The data frames the question; interpreting it is our job and the decision remains yours.

For your company: a free assessment of your export potential

We start from what you sell, to whom and with which resources, not from a map. On that basis we explore markets with you, separate facts from hypotheses and point out what still needs to be verified.

The session lasts 30 to 45 minutes, is held in Spanish, English or French, and afterwards you receive an initial report reviewed by the IBC team. You do not need to arrive with a closed list of countries or a customs code: we work with products and with services, which call for different questions.

For chambers, agencies and business associations

The same Atlas can support the companies of a territory. We use it in three formats: workshops where the map and the comparisons explain a market to an audience, individual diagnoses that organise each company’s offering and its next step, and support programmes with an agreed cohort, deliverables and evaluation criteria.

We propose three scopes —foreign trade, trade and investment, and intelligence with guided diagnosis and reviewed reports— and we study editions adapted to the identity, sectors and templates of each institution. The service can be run by IBC, by your own technical team or by both. The sensible way to start is a small pilot you can evaluate.

How we work: data, context, decision

  1. We understand your company. Offering, experience, resources and objectives. Before the map, the starting point.
  2. We explore markets. We contrast demand, competitive environment, logistics and market access requirements, using the indicators that make sense for your sector.
  3. We define the next steps. An initial report with sources, limits and open questions. Not a promise of sales.

One tool within a wider job

The Atlas is the starting point, not the destination. When a hypothesis is worth pursuing, we continue with what we have been doing for years: market intelligence on the ground, importer identification, institutional agendas and commercial support. From the Canary Islands, between Europe, Africa and the Americas.
