IBC Spain has contributed to the development of the new Strategy of the Directorate-General for Economic Affairs with Africa of the Government of the Canary Islands. The Strategy takes a new approach to external economic action with Africa and will focus on the growing networks of innovative and entrepreneurial companies that are increasingly thriving in the African economy.<\/p>\n
This strategic planning is based on four lines of action, which aim to establish a global system of support for all initiatives that may favour joint economic growth with our neighbouring region:<\/p>\n
1. Economic diplomacy and territorial cooperation.<\/p>\n
2. The development of Canary Islands-Africa innovation.<\/p>\n
3. Training and knowledge transfer between the Canary Islands and Africa.<\/p>\n
4. Strategic information, one of the main lines to be developed over the coming two years.<\/p>\n
