On 24 June 2025, at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra, the projects of the INTERREG MAC programme involving Ghana were officially presented, under the ATLANTE governance strand.<\/p>\n<h2>20 out of 34 projects<\/h2>\n<p>Ghana joined the enlarged MAC programme, endorsed by the European Commission in September 2022. Of the 34 projects approved in the first call, Ghana takes part in 20: from ACUICONECTA on aquaculture innovation and IDIWATER on desalination and training in Keta, to AFRICANTECH on SME competitiveness and digital transformation, or BIO ECO-TUR and CIRCULAROCEAN on the circular economy and blue-green infrastructure.<\/p>\n<h2>The opening<\/h2>\n<p>It brought together the Director-General for Relations with Africa of the Government of the Canary Islands, the head of section at the Delegation of the European Union to Ghana, the head of the EU\/Europe\/Americas Unit at Ghana&#8217;s Ministry of Finance, and the Ambassador of Spain to Ghana.<\/p>\n<h2>Our work<\/h2>\n<p>Advance analysis of the projects and their partners, liaison with the Embassy, programmes and travel requirements, and the press release.<\/p>\n<div style=\"border-top:3px solid #ea7813;margin-top:38px;padding-top:18px\">\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 8px;font-size:17px;line-height:1.5;color:#3f4550\">Same INTERREG MAC series: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ibcspain.com\/en\/projects\/interreg-mac-gambia\/\">The Gambia<\/a> \u00b7 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ibcspain.com\/en\/projects\/interreg-mac-cote-divoire\/\">C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0;font-size:17px;line-height:1.5;color:#3f4550\">Working on something similar?
